What is Shilajit?
Shilajit is a naturally occurring substance found seeping from rock cracks in high-altitude mountain ranges — most famously the Himalayas, but also the Altai, Caucasus and parts of Central Asia. It's a dense, tar-like, blackish-brown material formed over centuries through the slow compression of plant matter between layers of rock, and contains naturally present fulvic and humic acids alongside a spectrum of trace minerals.
